AIESEC experience

What is it?

AIESEC is the biggest student organization working internationally for the promotion of volunteering and internships abroad. I held many roles in its branches in Venice and in Italy.

My role:

I held many roles:

• Team OGV (Outgoing Volunteer) member: I walked volunteers who were going abroad through all the steps of their experience: pre-departure prparation in Venice, during their experience abroad, to a post-experience meeting. I kept in contact with them throughout their journey and solved issues they encountered.

• Team Marketing&PR leader: I promoted AIESEC experiences in classrooms, to university students, and to professors.

• Columnist: for AIESEC Italia I interviewed volunteers and wrote articles about their experiences which were published in different magazines and websites.

Outcome:

Volunteers were safe and were enthusiastic about their experience abroad; 50+ leads were generated when I was in marketing and PR.
