Community Building

I consider myself a community builder. I love networking, finding people with common interests, and collaborating on projects that listen to the needs of the people. Through simple workshops and activities, I gather individuals in common, safe spaces where they can express themselves and develop their passions and skills. I work with both children and adults and always make use of non-formal education methods, as I believe that they help beneficiaries "get practical" and provide fun and engaging exercises that can be adapted to any situation. In particular, I like working with youth and people facing disadvantages to provide new stimuli and opportunities, as well as a shared space where they can be themselves and grow as people. Some topics that I covered through workshops are:

• creative arts and creativity

• politics and civic engagement

• language learning (English and Italian)

• environmental awareness (precisely on the ocean environment)

• sharing cultures and cultural practices

• hygiene, going through puberty, emotional and social education, personal development

• digital technologies

• sustainable agriculture
