DEMO Fellowship

Description:

The fellowship "D.E.M.O.", offered by European Alternatives, was a combination of online and offline events, structured around lectures, discussions, and conferences on the topics of political and community engagement and political growth. It gathered 70 activitists in different fields with the goal of promoting the 2024 European elections and building capacity for further committments by the participants.

My experience:

I joined as a political activist. My experience was very enriching as I could network with committed figures from all over Europe and learn about their work, building a solid network, as well as contributing with my own thoughts, opinions, and work.

My learnings:

I attended workshops and talks about many topics, from LGBTQ+ issues to the rise of political movements. I could contribute to talks about activism based on my personal experience and exchange thoughts and practical advice with the other participants.

Skills acquired:  public speaking    networking 

My outcomes:

I acquired a wide network of committed and like-minded people.
